Ballistics Injuries + EFAW Course
A MUST DO course for anyone who handles fire arms or BB guns.
Course Outline
Whilst this 1 day course covers the basic content of the Emergency First Aid at Work syllabus, it places a specific focus on the effective management of Ballistic Injuries. Delegates will learn how to:
- Carry out an injury survey (entry and exit wounds)
- Stem bleeding
- Care for shattered bones
- Effectively prevent/manage shock
- Care for soft tissue injuries caused by penetration
- Prepare a casualty prior to the emergency service arriving
Certification lasts for 3 years and will include an Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate and an additional Ballistics First Aid Certificate.
