Ballistics Injuries + EFAW Course   

A MUST DO course for anyone who handles fire arms or BB guns.

Course Outline

Whilst this 1 day course covers the basic content of the Emergency First Aid at Work syllabus, it places a specific focus on the effective management of Ballistic Injuries.  Delegates will learn how to:

  • Carry out an injury survey (entry and exit wounds)
  • Stem bleeding
  • Care for shattered bones
  • Effectively prevent/manage shock
  • Care for soft tissue injuries caused by penetration
  • Prepare a casualty prior to the emergency service arriving

Certification lasts for 3 years and will include an Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate and an additional Ballistics First Aid Certificate.
